The alert contains a snap shot of what it has spotted so you can quickly decide if you need to access the on-line screening facility or if you can ignore it. You can access a 3 hour snap shot history - in case you miss the action (further history can be accessed if you subscribe to Google Nest Aware). With its seriously smart algorithms the IQ can learn the difference between the movement of people from your pet - so you do not receive endless alerts that your dog has woken up to bark at the postman!

The camera has a state of the art 4K, 8 megapixel HDR image sensor. It streams 1080p full high definition content direct to your smart phone, tablet or laptop. With its wide range of motion (180 degrees horizontally, 160 degrees vertically) you can view the whole of your room, or zoom into those areas most important to you. The IQ will automatically zoom in and follow the action for you in the event of an alert being triggered, with the same high definition imaging available day or night thanks to its Night Vision LED sensors.

Two Way Communication

The Google Nest Cam IQ has a built in microphone and speaker which are enabled with noise cancellation and echo suppression - enabling you to have two way communication with those in your home.
